Here's for all those complainers out there!

Well, many people have said things to me about updating my blog. I am an excuse... I'm tired! I have been more tired this pregnancy then I was with Addison. Okay, maybe not more tired but it is lasting longer. I sleep when Addison sleeps, which means on the days I don't work I take 2 hours naps (if I want a longer one I'll put her in bed with me and that way she'll sleep for 3 hours!!) and I go to bed soon after she does... yes that means about 8:30. So... all you complainers out there, I hope you feel bad that you all guilted me into updating my blog when I should be 30 minutes into my sleep by now!

Any who. There are a lot of things I would like to update about. I'll start with some random pictures from the last few months, since I never updated in August... Ooops!

Addison stayed with my parents in July when Christopher had continuing education in San Antonio. My mom bought this water thing for her to play in. She loved it, once Bessy convinced her that splashing the water WAS okay and NOT scary!

This was her favorite thing to do in the water "a Pappy, a swing!!"

I mentioned her big girl bed in the last post. This is it! When Mary made her bedding she made it from a bed in a bag I found at Target. I bought the queen size bedding so the sheets would be big enough for curtains. I didn't expect to continue using it on her big girl bed, but it fits perfectly! Plus, it was an easy transition since I didn't have to change her whole room up! Plus, there were BIG gaps in the sides of the day bed and so we just put her bumper pads around it to keep her from going through the spaces!

As you can see... she was not happy to take these pictures on her bed!

The girl LOVES her daddy and to do everything that he does. After he runs on Saturday morning he always does the ab workout from p90x. This day she was eating her breakfast and she heard Tony's voice and she yelled "a boo (blue) mat, a boo one." She new that Tony's voice meant Christopher was about to workout his abs. She makes him have the purple mat, which was my yoga mat, since her favorite color is blue! She really will attempted all the moves and usually stick with it the whole 14 minutes. It's so funny to watch!!

She also has to mow with Daddy!

This particular day Christopher's mower broke down then so did Addison's.

Papa made her this wonderful bench! Can you tell she loves it? This is what I get now when I tell her to say cheese! AWESOME!

The Sunday before we left for Mexico Mary Beth (Bessy) was in Tyler so she came over to hang out with us! Addison loved it. They had to put on their cowboy hats!
I think this one is so cute! She LOVES her Aunt Bessy... of course, why wouldn't she, they are the same person... the love of horses and the OCD... I can only figure that comes from her!
Finally... HAPPY BIRTHDAY TODAY TO MY BABY GIRL. I cannot believe she is 2 today! We had her party on Saturday. I'll have a post of that as well as Mexico. But both of those have LOTS of pictures and I'll need a little more energy!
Update on baby... I'm 14 weeks. Had an appointment today, heart rate was 135. I'm going to have a sonogram at my next appointment to check on my cyst. Yeah, I haven't blogged about that yet. It's there, about golf ball size. It's been growing then shrinking and we'll see what it has been doing the last 8 weeks in 4 weeks! He said my appointment was to check on the cyst, I'm am hoping that he'll also go ahead and tell us what it is!! We'll see.
That's all. I'm out. I'm tired and the couch is calling my name! (it's way more comfortable than the bed these days since it keeps me on my side!)

A few random thoughts.

Here are several things that I have been thinking about lately: (sorry, no pictures this blog)

1. Burn After Reading is the worst movie ever! I thought it was supposed to be funny, NOT FUNNY, just WEIRD, CREEPY, STUPID, POINTLESS, WASTE OF WHAT COULD HAVE BEEN SLEEP... I could think of a lot of things it was besides funny.

2. Addison is in a big girl bed now! Me and my attachment issues had a hard time grasping the concept of her not being in a crib, but she is doing great. She had a small meltdown when Russ and Chris moved her crib in the other room but she survived after a few Oreo's from Sissa!! Me... I'm okay too. I thought I might cry the first night I put her in it, but I didn't!!

3. Why is she getting a big girl bed... Papa had it (Chris's grandpa) and so we finally just decided to go get it, it's a day bed and we've been saying we were going to go get it for nearly a year now!

4. Oh, the other reason we got it... WE'RE HAVING ANOTHER BABY! I'm now 8 weeks, estimated due date March 6. I'm going to push for a March 2nd baby, since it will be scheduled anyway. Why you ask... it's birthday would be 3-2-10, get it, 3-2-1-0... Addison's is 9-8-7 (07 really) so I thought 3-2-1-0 would be fitting!

5. I have to give Jaymie her shots to help prevent preterm labor. I've given LOTS of shots in my life, but insulin and insulin needles are way different than the 1 1/2 inch (that's what it seems like at least) needles and thicker than motor oil stuff that I give her. Also, it never bothered me to give shots to those little kids, especially if they were being jerks that day, so why am I so nervous giving them to Jaymie? Maybe because she will not be leaving in 3 weeks or less and if I hurt her I'll have to deal with it for a LONG time.

6. My brother now lives in Florida. It makes me sad that he is not a Texan! He loves his job and Sunday sent us all pictures from the beach. He is training horses in Sarasota, I can't remember the name of the Ranch but apparently it's unbelievable! He drove over 24 hours to get there with 2 horses. It makes me sad that he won't be able to just zip to Bryan if Addison and I are going to be there. Makes the time that we did get to see him in May that much better with our little partial family picture.

7. My husband is very proud of me, I've watched more Rangers games than EVER this year. Not that I really watch them, but I just tolerate them while they are on and not complain like I used to. I try to find little things to make the games interesting to me... like compare all the different ways the guys wear their pants and which ones I like best. Kinsler has the dumbest pants, and the tall skinny pitcher, Dustin something has great calves!

8. Am I giving in to the thought of Facebook? I have said that I will never have a Facebook just because so many people tell me I need it. Plus, I know that I could EASILY be addicted to it. But this weekend while my sister was here we stayed up looking up lots of people. It was fun. Best topic of why to look up people... what do ex boyfriends look like now. No, I'm not talking high school ex boyfriends, I'm talking 4th and 5th grade boyfriends! Those were fun. Maybe just for us since we went to so many different schools and haven't seen those people in a LONG time. I'm still debating on who in fact won the best looking it may have to go to one of my 5th grade boyfriends, I think we "went out" for like 2 days!

9. Craig's wedding is just around the corner, 5 days in Mexico sounds WONDERFUL!

10. I hope you enjoyed my random thoughts!

From the archives!

I realize that this is my third post for the day. Be sure to see the other ones... I have time on my hands right now and now I won't feel guilty knowing there are blogs out there waiting to be written. (one more that I can think of but 3's enough for one day!!)

These are all random pictures from several different events from the last few months.

We have been the water park in White Oak 2 times, Addison doesn't really enjoy the spraying water...

But she does like the play ground!
I just love those wet curls!!

I'm not sure who the two girls are, but I thought Addison, Mallory, Blake and Grayson looked so old. I feel like they are all teenagers talking in a circle of friends!
One of my favorite pictures from the water park. What Grayson and Mallory do, Blake must do, what Blake does Addison must do! I like that it looks like Blake and Addison are talking!!

Not sure what's happening here but it looks funny!

Oh, those cute Porter kids!

The next time we were at the water park there were a lot more people. Next time we go I will bring her a bucket and shovel. She was OBSESSED with playing with Rylan and Aubrey because of their bucket.

A few embarrassing pictures...
Oh, Elizabeth...

Kason LOVES Addison's jewlery.

Blake clinging to Addison's play makeup. Blake also loves Addison jewelry. Funny story that Christopher and I still talk about... one night the Porter's were over and we were eating dinner. Blake wouldn't eat and Addison and Mallory had already eaten so they went to play. I can't remember if Amy or Mark said it, but someone said "Blake, if you take one more bite of pizza then you can go play with Addison's jewelry." He then grabbed the pizza and shoved it in his mouth!!

Addison and Kason swinging at Kason's birthday party!

She looked so ghetto in this picture, it cracks me up!

Look mom, candy!!! She didn't eat much of it though! ;)
Thanks Kent for continuing to put candy in her bucket!!

4th of July

Addison had a busy 4th of July!

First we decorated to take to the Howard's house for the church 4th of July Celebration! Unfortunately I left these cupcakes on the counter when we left... we had lots of cupcakes to eat!

What do you do while you are putting sprinkles on cupcakes and accidentally jam your fingers in the top of them??? Lick it off of course! (maybe it's a good thing we forgot them!!)

I also made a little cake since I had left over batter and no more cupcake holders. Addison decorated this as well. As you can see, the red sprinkles came out way better than the blue ones!

Thinking about swinging at the Howard's.

We had to ride the train! So we jumped on with Drew, the twins, Blake, Mallory and Amy!

Addison was cheesing it up for Mark who was trying to get her to smile for the camera. GREAT job Mark!!
Grandad got Addison some ice cream... she loved it!
YUMMY!
The girl thinks she can drink water out of the bottle, it's always interesting to see where it will end up...

So funny when you spill water all the way down your dress!

Pouring it into the cap is way more fun than drinking it!

We were thinking about trying the sparklers... she seems excited

Not so much. She didn't want to touch it and was ready for me to let go of it!

Fireworks!! She made it about 1 minute into them before she asked for paci and blanket. Then about 2 minutes after that she started hugging me saying "I don't want it" over and over. It was funny. So... I went as far back as I could go and held her and sang some of her funny Jack's Big Music Show songs and she feel asleep. It was about and hour after her bed time, but who falls asleep during fire works??

4th of July is an exhausting holiday!!

Fathers Day Weekend

Man, I'm so behind... I'm going to update SEVERAL times over the next few days!

Father's Day Weekend we headed up to Lake Texoma to stay in a cabin with Christopher's family. It was fun and relaxing, mostly to get out of the humidity of East Texas! I didn't even realize how great it was to be able to sit outside in the middle of the day and not feel like I was taking a shower! Kallen and Kelsey brought there boat. Addison didn't like the life jacket so she only stayed in the boat about 5 minutes. Which was fine with me since when we first got on the water I realized that I don't really like boats either!!

I did, however, go out with just Christopher, Kallen and Kelsey one afternoon and Addison stayed at the cabin with Russ and Kim. These are a few pictures they took while we were out...

Cherry Coke zero through a straw, her grandad knows just the way to her heart.

And pizza for lunch on the couch...
Addison's favorite part was playing on the deck and throwing food to the ducks!
Nonna took her in for a closer look. These ducks stayed around the whole weekend I think they realized how much food they would get if Addison was around!
Washing Nonna's feet... what a little servant!

Checking Uncle Kellen's pants! This girls LOVES to check peoples pants...
This is how she watched some Blue's Clues!

Pretty sunset!

Christopher and Addison feeding the ducks!

My two favorite people!

Our attempt at a family picture... I have some editing left to do.
