Can't we be done with teeth already???

Well, it's been a long week. Not a lot of pictures taken, can you believe it. I went from Feb. 14 to Feb. 21 without a single picture. Why you ask. Probably because i didn't feel like it... Addison is getting MORE teeth. How many teeth are 18 month olds suppose to have?? Wait... Christopher is currently talking to Craig... 20 baby teeth. When she is 12 or 13 she'll have 32... Why do I want to know... SHE IS WEARING ME OUT. She's been getting teeth since she was 4 months old. It's the same every time -- nasty runny nose, DISGUSTING diapers, slobber, chewing on everything, fever, crankiness, clinginess, not eating, sore throat from all the drainage, etc... So every time she is getting teeth I feel like she's getting sick. I always try disregard the "sick" thought as her getting teeth. But once again I let it get to my head and we took her to the Dr. today. She's been like this for a week. Usually it only lasts 2 or 3 days, but a WEEK... COME ON!! Dr. Neff gave us the all clear! I guess one day when she really does get sick I won't take her to the Dr because I'll just think it was teeth... we'll cross that bridge once all 20 come in. Maybe I need to go wake her up and count so I know how much more of this we have.

These pictures are from a few weeks ago. They crack me up. She was pushing her baby around in the stroller that my little sister had when she was little. She saw a nail file on the floor and parked her baby next to it and started this...

"OOOOoooo, PRETTY" (that's what she hears from me and anyone else that is filing her nails, it keeps her still!!) But really, that's what she was saying!!
Addison came over to me and wanted to "push." She likes to push the buttons and take pictures herself then look at them. I took one for her of her baby in it's stroller. As soon as she saw it she jumped up and went over and stood by it and said "Cheese!" I guess she thought she needed a posed picture with her baby!! What's so funny about this picture to me is that it's like she's leaning on the stroller!!

One day she decided she needed to wear her cowboy hat. Really, she was in her room playing and kept pointing up at it and saying "hat." So I got it down, she had me put it on her then she went in to the living room to ride her horse. Guess she feels like she has to have her hat on to ride her horse, Pappy taught her well!! (Amy, check out the pants!!)

Just a close-up of my sweet cowgirl!!

This past weekend we went to College Station to see my parents! We had an okay time. I was a little stressed since ABC was SUPER cranky most of the time. Except for when she was outside! I felt bad that we were there and she wasn't her normal crazy self, but oh well. My dad rocked her to sleep for both of her naps on Saturday; therefore, Sunday she wanted NOTHING to do with him. My mom had to tell her "I promise Pappy is not going to put you to sleep, if he tries I will get you back. I won't let him put you to sleep, all he wants to do is read you a book." Apparently after that she gave my mom her paci (I guess just in case he tried to put her to sleep) and crawled over into my dad's lap. Oh that girl... she's something...
So since she didn't feel good she wanted to be held A LOT! Honey got to lay with her for a long time for the 2nd part of her morning nap! (This was 1 of te 2 pictures I took the entire weekend.)

That's all I have for now. I think we are going to a daffodil farm this week so be ready for LOTS of cute pictures later!

i heart faces - WONDER

When I heard what the topic was for this weeks photo contest on i-heart-faces I knew extally what picture I was going to use.

I took this picture last March when it snowed. ABC was 5 months old and just learning that she LOVED Chutch, our dog! He had just walked around behind me while I was taking her first real snow pictures! I'm still so glad I could catch this face!!

The many faces of Addison

These first several pictures I took last week within about 20 seconds total. It cracks me up the expressions that she makes... at the end she was getting made because I was not picking her up.

Just a shot at what awesome bed head she has with all that curly hair! I love it!

So Addison decided to put on makeup with me the other day. She always "helps" me when I sit in the floor to put it on, but hadn't figured out that she can put it on her too... until Thursday that is!! I knew she had my eye liner and then I noticed that she was poking it into her eye (or trying anyway!) So then once I realized what she was doing I sat back, watched and laughed! I wished I would have had the video camera close, it was too funny! Yes, she has it on her lips too, I use that same color as a LIGHT lip liner.

Thursday we went over to Papa's house. Addison loved playing in the bark yard... mostly the fountain.

And lastly - my new favorite picture of her. I caught her a little blurry, but I still LOVE IT!
I hope everyone has a GREAT week!

Park!!

Today we met Natalie and Cason at the Park since it was so nice outside! It was fun, we played for 1.5 hours and it was time to leave because I was tired! Chasing her all around was making my soreness come back... really, I'm ready to have my legs back.

Cason wasn't so sure that he wanted to go down the slide so we asked Addison to hold his hand. They both thought it was so funny, and Cason had to give it a thumbs up. Cason is about 2.5 months older than abc.
They really liked holding hands and it was cracking me up!

Cason sticks his tongue out a lot, SOO cute! I guess it's like Chris and Chad in their running / working hard pictures in the flag football blog.

Last time we went to the park abc didn't like the swing... this time she did, so I took a TON to swing pictures!

"Too high Mommy!"

She also LOVES going through the tunnel! Eventually she realized she can walk through it instead of crawl!

Thinking about going down the slide.

Thinking...

This is what happens to her hair when she goes down the slide!

Was it Worth it??

So what did we do this weekend? Here are a few clues...

Yeah... that's right. We played in a flag football tournament in Allen. Several weeks ago we had decided to go and see Cassy, Chad and Cohen on Jan. 30 so we could watch Chad coach. About 2 hours after we decided that Chad called and said we needed to come that weekend because their church was having a flag football tournament. Christopher was SUPER excited. I was excited to watch and take pictures. Then... Cassy emailed me and said they were having a girls league also. So... after her signing me up without me knowing it I was the QB for the "artificial limbs!" I was glad she didn't really give me a chance to say no!

This picture I LOVE of Cassy blocking. When I first showed her, we cracked up (as much as we could without hurting). When I showed Chad all he said was "know wonder the other team didn't like y'all." But I like Cassy's point. She was TRYING to keep her hands closed to not pull on the girl, plus with girls its not as easy to "block with extended hands," you kind of feeling like you are violating the other person if you do. Yeah, their rules were a little more lax then ACU rules. Hence a fight in the men's rec league, and someone getting kicked out of the men's champ league!

Just me running, and Kat, my AMAZING running back blocking for me!
Cassy cheering me on!

As you can see, the Artificial Limbs are holding up a #1! That's right... we WON! There were only 3 teams and we had to play the purple team (Tough Almighty Princesses) twice. Really 2 1/2 times since our last game went into 4 over times! WE were SOOO tired. If we had lost we would have had to play them for a 3rd times and none of us had ANYTHING left. We were pretty excited to win, but more excited for it to be OVER!

How we really felt after the games were over. It's not an exaggeration... I fell asleep on the couch as soon as we put abc in bed at 7:30, then I got up and went to bed at 8:30. What an exciting guest I was huh!

Chris and Chad in their backfield.

Chad looks so serious

Buddy time on the field!!

HE looks so sad. This was in their last game (their 4th game of the day). The boys got 3rd place!

LOVE this picture of one of his touchdowns. Seriously, I'm not sure how he hasn't bitten off his tongue... but the saddest thing about this picture - look at his shirt... his GSP shirt. I told him that it would get ripped if he wore it he didn't care as much as I did. He said "I'll just have to have Ricky get me a new one!"

Chad is so serious.

The four of us after it was ALL OVER!! The soreness had already set in, and is actually still in! Christopher said he hurt worse than he did after his marathon. If there had been a video camera on us for the last several days it would be sooo funny to watch was try and do normal things with legs that barely work. Great news though... today I could get my left leg in the car without having to pull it up with my arms!

In case you were wondering what we did with the kids while we were playing... Big T and Carla, Chad's parents, came down from Gainesville to watch everyone play and help with the kids! They had so much fun! Carla, THANK YOU so much! Tell Big T Addison picked up a million little sticks in our front yard Sunday and kept saying "tick" and bring them to us!

Wanted to give a shout out to Big T! He volunteered the last game while Carla had the kids at Chad and Cassy's (asleep!!)

Now... for what some of you really want to see...

future models? Don't they look good!!

Cohen really liked the pink sunglasses!!

Check out that jump shot. Only 17 months old, you should see how well he can shoot and throw, UNBELIEVABLE!!

Close up of Cohen telling us who was #1!

Sharing was not their forte this weekend. Cohen was getting in trouble for hitting Addison and telling her NO when she was trying to get in front of him on the slide. I laughed when he did it... sorry Chad.

Cohen wanted up and Addison wanted down... it ended with Cohen at the top and Addison screaming.

See what I mean about sharing!!

Who's mohawk is better??
All in all it was a great weekend! I'm still debating on whether or not the soreness was worth the football fun... I'm leaning towards the yes side!
