Too sleepy for a real post!

I'm tired and don't want to take the hour it usually takes me to blog, plus I feel guilty that it's almost been 2 weeks since my last post. Therefore, I leave you with this for now!

What do you do when your child decides to watch tv like this?? Christopher and I... we just sat behind her and laughed!

Posts to come... the zoo, let summer begin and finally my Ode to p90x!! (yes I would recommend it those of you that asked!)

Fun times!

This past weekend we made a quick trip to college station to see my parents and brother! It's not often that Mark gets time off so since he was going to College Station Melissa and I decided to make the trip. My grandparents also moved to Bryan in December so it was a win win for everyone!

Melissa and Papa got Addison to dance on the table... she was "barch" (marching) so hard

This one just completely cracks me up, the swinging hips combined with that face, OH... I love this girl!

Giving Papa some love! She has started really figuring out what hugs are and I love them!

Nana let her go through a random box of stuff... Addison put Nana's hat on her and insisted she wear it!

Taking time to smell the flowers!

Driving the lawn mower with Pappy. Notice who's hands are on the wheel and who's are not...
My new favorite pictures.

Christopher and I are in week 11 of p90x (if you don't know what it is... google it). We keep our pull up bar up in one of the doorways in our house. Really, I don't even notice it anymore. Addison likes to randomly do pull ups on it, with help of course!! She'll even count them "two, two, two, two, two..."

Can't you tell she's working so hard! (Christopher actually lets her pull herself up)

I know I've said before that when people ask me how ABC is I say "crazy." These next several pictures are my proof of her craziness!!

Urrggg Moma... no more pictures.

Fun with the tutu

Okay, when I saw this shadow of her hair I just had to take a picture of it... LOVELY!

I've never sat Indian style on the potty, but she looks so comfortable I want to try it!

The newest way to carry your Easter basket! (immediately following the picture we had a few "issues" trying to get this off her head, it ended up on her head and her freaking out because all the eggs were hitting her in the face!)

when we were packing for college station she insisted on pulling her suitcase down the hall herself, this too ended badly.

Boo!

I guess she thought the horse needed to be fixed.

I get this face a lot... should she be this good at it at 19 months??

Addison -1, supper -0 (she showed that ravioli who was boss!)

iheartfaces - Week 12 - Pouting

Okay. A few weeks ago when I read what the category was for this week there was no question what picture I was going to use.

This picture was taken when my parents came up before Christmas. My dad had just told Addison "no" to eating the leaves on her slide, she turned around and this is what I got. I LOVE it!!

So CRAZY!

That's how I describe Addison if anyone asks... CRAZY! What 18 month old child isn't crazy. I'll share 2 funny stories that happened this week: 1). She was chewing on a sippie cup, and talking, trying to tell me something and I could not understand her. I kept telling her "I don't know what you are saying, please take the cup out of your mouth." After probably the 5th time of me saying that she jerked the cup out of her mouth, got about 1 foot from my face, looked me straight in the eyes and sternly said "I say tant you!" Oh well... (anyone else think she is going to have a little attitude?) Story #2 - I always ask her to come over to me so I can check her pants to see if she has pooped. Well after I checked her pants she turned around and looked at me and said "Moma pants," then walked behind me and pulled back my pants like I do hers and said "oh poop!" (In case anyone was curious, I didn't really poop!!) That girl cracks me up...

So as I was getting ready for this blog I didn't really think that there would be much to put on here. WRONG! There are A LOT of pictures. We had a busy few days and I couldn't decide between all the pictures so...

I wanted to get those little Crayola paints that are easy for toddlers to hold in there hands, I thought it wouldn't make too much of a mess but took her clothes off just in case... man am I glad I did. The girl is a mess. I asked her to old up her hands in the during her painting and this is what I got.

ABC is OBSESSED with painting her hands. They use to do lots of hand stamping at school and we color her hands with the color wonders markers (because they don't make a mess anywhere when we stamp them on the color wonder paper) so she LOVES anything that will mark on her hands, these were no different. Who cares if you have paper to color on when you have two hands!

This was in the middle of the painting session. By the end her hands were black... I honestly wasn't too sure that it would all come off. However, after and VERY long bath it was all of (After I scrubbed and scrubbed I let her play for another 15 minutes to see if the paint would eventually come off her fingernails and it soaked right off!)

After it was over. Like those black finger tips! Notice the paint on her face. Apparently she got confused tried to put on her makeup with the paint. Good thing these aren't toxic, because if you look close enough you can see blue lips! I mean, what girl doesn't enjoy a little blue lip stick now and then!!

Saturday morning we headed over to Kanyon's birthday party. Here's the main man himself! We are SUPER excited that Kanyon can play again and that this was his last year to be in quarantine!

It was VERY chilly but the kids did not seem to care, they went up and down the driveway on these toys. They had to have all been SOOO cold.

Notice where all the adults are... in the comfort of the garage... away from the wind!

Addison Beth Collier, meet Addison Elizabeth Briscoe. Addison was born in July at 27 weeks. She came home from the NICU in October just in time for quarantine so no one (besides Jaymie and Kanyon) have actually been able to play with them. So... this was the first time for the Addison's to meet! Don't they look so excited!!

After the party we headed out to Elysian Fields for Russ's brothers birthday dinner. Of course ABC had to ride the four wheeler with Grandad while she was there. Christopher and I went on the other one with them. Holy Cow.... I was so nervous watching them. Russ - you go faster than what I imagined. (not that he really goes very fast, I was just expecting a creep... ) Can you tell she loves it??

Checking to make sure everything was right.

She was DETERMINED to drive it by herself. Notice her hand on Russ's... she was taking his hand off so she could push the buttons.

Before dinner we were eating olives. Addison has a little Sigler in her. How can I tell? Look at how she choose to eat her olives... we did not put those on her fingers she did it herself! Cracks me up.

Okay, I'm not sure how long ago it was but Stacie Neal had a give-a-way on her blog of a Tutu... I won! Tonight at small group we got our Tutu. Of course I had to put it on her when we got home. She lasted about 5 minutes in it... it was a funny cute 5 minutes.
I started to sing the belly wobble song (Amy Porter maybe the only person who know what I'm talking about) and she started to "shake your hips from side to side"
I asked her to say cheese and this is what I got.

Not really sure what she was doing here, but it made for a funny picture!!

F-U-N with Pappy!

This weekend my dad came up Friday night to play with Addison, and get hay. He and abc had a lot of fun on Saturday!! He left during halftime of the Aggie game, while she was taking a nap and when she woke up she asked, signed, for "more, please!" I said "more what?" she said "Pappy!" It was too cute. Made me wish we lived a little closer to my parents so she could have "more Pappy" whenever she wanted!

Lately she won't get onto her horse without her hat on. The other day I was in the kitchen and thought she was being a little too quiet, when I walked into the living room, this is what I found!

So what all did her and Pappy do? Well... a lot. Therefore, there are a lot of pictures. Consider yourself warned!

Pappy tried to get her use to riding a saddle, so he set one up on the side of the truck... she wasn't a big fan!

Then Pappy let her "drive" his truck, so she was happy again!

They swung on the swing. Despite her face in this picture, she really does like it!

Then they pushed the swing. WAY more fun than swinging!!!

I just thought this was funny. My dad was looking at how the tree is grown around the rope and abc wanted to see what we were talking about!

Just a cute picture when they were playing on the porch! (btw - Jessica, this is one of my new favorite outfits!! Thanks!!)

Pappy tossed her in the air so she could fly!

Then they rolled around!

He tried the trick to have her go down his back and through his legs... she's still a bit to little to get it, but she had fun!

She then wanted to go see the trailer again!

Playing in the tack room of the trailer!

Pappy helped her fill up her car with gas!

She was very concerned about a bug on the ground. They had to watch it for a while!

She then got a galloping shoulder ride!

They read books!

By far her favorite thing was for him to draw pictures on the mag-na-doodle!

He drew a horse...

Then added Addison to it...

Then added Chutch (or the giant rat), a bird and the bug she was worried about.
After this Addison tried to enhance Pappy's drawing, it looked like she added a rope to her hands... maybe she wants to be a roper? Who knows...

Before my dad left he drew her one more picture for when she woke up! I thought it was sweet! It didn't last too long after she discovered it though, glad I took a picture!

Thanks Pappy for such a fun day! Can't wait to play again! I of eww! (Addison's version of I love you!)
